Dr Akram Al Ariss, specialized in International Human Resource Management. I am an academic researcher with a portfolio comprising an extensive range of publications including books, book chapters, refereed journal articles, and reports. My research, teaching, and management consultancy focus on international careers and global talent management of skilled expatriate and migrant workforce. I also have editorial appointments with high impact journals in the field of business and management. Presently, I am Associate Editor of the journal Career Development International. I have an international teaching and training experiences with European, American, and Arab institutions. My topic of specialization has a high social impact worldwide given the need to manage expatriate-local workforce in our globalized societies. My PhD is from Norwich Business School (UK), and I also have Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches from Université Paris-Dauphine, the highest academic qualification an academic can achieve in France.
